In AMPjump, we make sure that your pages are as optimized for search engines as possible. When adding images to website, make sure they do not lose their potential for high positions in image search engines results such as Google Images.
Step 1. Images compression
Don't upload large (over 1920x1080px) and heavy (over 100KB) images. Such images take a long time to load and slow down website very much. Search engines don't like heavy pages. Before uploading your photos to website, you can use convenient, free compression tools. We recommend, among others Compressor.io or Squoosh.app.
Step 2. ALT Text
Each image that you show on webpage should have its own text ALT, i.e. an alternative title. It is a short text that describes what the picture shows. They are used by search engines. You can enter the ALT text in the field that is next to each image you upload.

Step 3. The favicon
Set your favicon for website. This is the icon that appears on the browser tab with the page open. Recently, it is also shown in mobile search results, so it is worth taking advantage of it.
You can upload the icon in PNG format with dimensions of 32x32 or 64x64 and additionally (optional) 512x512 for Apple devices.
